We’re excited to welcome you back to Cammas Hall Farm in 2024.

Can I transfer my entry to another runner?

Yes, you can transfer to another runner, providing the transfer is completed before the entry transfer deadline. This is to enable us to prepare the race packs. You can do this through our entry portal without needed to contact us.

How much does it cost to enter?

Race entry will cost £23 until 30th July then £24 until race day or entries sell out. A £2 discount will be given to UKA Affiliated runners. 

Can I change from the 5 mile to the 10 mile race? (and vice versa)

Yes, you can change your distance, providing the transfer is completed before the entry transfer deadline. This is to enable us to prepare the race packs. You can do this through our entry portal without needed to contact us. To change distance you just need to change the event in the drop down to your desired distance.

Can dogs participate?

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs to participate in the event itself, however dogs on leads are welcome to spectate in the finish line area.

I entered the event, but can no longer make it, can I get a refund/defer to next year?

We don’t offer refunds or deferrals for our event, however providing it is before the transfer deadline you can swap to another runner.

Can I run the route beforehand?

The route is run on a mixture of private farm tracks and public footpath. Therefore we can’t allow you to check the route in its entirety before hand. However, Cammas Hall Farm is open from late spring until autumn where you can visit the farm and their facilities

What is the terrain like?

Apart from short road crossings the rest of the course is run off road, taking in borders of fields. Whilst we do our best to make the route as flat as possible there will be obstacles such as rabbit roles, roots, rocks and lumps you may need to run over.

Is there parking?

There is parking near the start/finish area to the front of the tea barn. Whilst there is space for everyone to park, we would appreciate that you can share wherever possible.

What time does the race start?

The race begins at 10:30am on 23rd May 2023. We advise you to arrive at least 45 minutes before the start to allow you sufficient time to collect your race number.

Please note that the 5 mile and 10 mile race begin at the same time.

Where does the race take place?

The event takes place at Cammas Hall Farm, Hatfield Broad Oak, CM22 7JT. You can click here to view detailed instructions.

Can I wear headphones?

You may encounter other members of the public whilst on the course such as dog walkers.

It is imperative that runners can hear race marshals and other runners, as well as be fully aware of their surroundings at all times.

Bone Conducting headphones are permitted. The use of other personal audio equipment / headphones is therefore prohibited during the race for reasons of safety. Runners risk disqualification if found using headphones during the race. Your health and safety is of primary concern, so please understand and respect this decision.

Do you offer a bag drop?

There will be a baggage tent at Race HQ where you can leave your belongings Alternatively, you can leave belongings in your car. The car park is adjacent to the finish area.

Any items left at Race HQ or in your vehicles are done so at your own risk. Neither the Event Team or Cammas Hall Farm can take responsibility for losses.

Are there any prizes?

Trophies will be awarded to the finishers as follows according to gun time:

10 mile race

(Male and Female)

5 mile race

(Male and Female)

1st place 1st place
2nd place 2nd place
3rd place 3rd place

We will also award a Mixed Team Prize for both races with the top three team members scoring.
